How my journey began
A person CAN have, and live the life that they desire!
I want to teach you how, as I continue on in my journey of life.
I believe that there is something inside of YOU, that others needs!
I'm Jessica Hazen Jenkins and I want to encourage YOU to find your true identity which will bring YOU life and freedom! Start living your dreams out loud!
Obstacles, challenges, grief and heartaches that many face; I am no stranger to them.
Because of these setbacks, I persevere with more strength and courage, KNOWING that I can choose to be a victim or to continue onward to claim victory. This hasn’t always come by easy, but I am empowered knowing that I am not alone. And neither are you.
After my marriage of 11 years, in 2016 my late husband Bart was wrongfully killed, leaving me to raise our three children on my own. My whole world just fell apart taking my dreams and what I thought was my purpose with him. In the aftermath of this tragedy, I began to rely on my relationship with Jesus to help me navigate the grieving process and heal my broken heart to love again. In 2018 I remarried and became a stepmom to three with my husband Jared. Together we have a son, and now I am a mother of seven children. As a little girl, I always dreamt of being a mom.
*Never silence the dreams and desires deep inside of you. We were all created with dreams and the ability to dream. Anything that you want in this life, you have to go after. Jesus makes the impossible possible. Not only for you, but for others too. Life will bring heartaches and pain; as change is inevitable. Yes, the choices we make effect us as well as others; let the choices we make, invite others to know Him.
The love He has for you and I can be measured in arms length, that was reinforced by three nails.*
For many years I was afraid to share the real me with others that I love Jesus, and my aspiration to live life to the fullest no matter what. Tears poured out from hurtful words spoken by others and the negative self talk in my head, while ugly crying in my bowl of ice cream with brownies, are proof that I am alive!
To my surprise of the many fears I have overcame, I have coined the phrase:
“Call me crazy, I don't care.”
(Meaning that I want to be found crazy, dreaming big, and believing the impossible. No longer letting fear and nay-sayers hold me captive as the norm in this world.)
When YOU discover who you are, you come alive!
When YOU discover who you are, you come alive!
My desire is to live the abundant life; as a wife, mom, author, speaker and entrepreneur.
Understanding how much God loves me motivates me to serve others and share His love with them. What God has done for me, HE can and desires to do the same for you! After all, He is the giver of dreams.
A question that I ask myself often encourages me not to give up:
“If you are NOT living your best life, then who is living it for you?”
Rise up & join me in creating your life!
“you. there is no other like you. your journey could be the beginning for somebody else’s story.”
